Sometimes he looks at me and we sometimes make eye contact and do little shy smiles at each other and he always stare at me but at times when i walk in the cafteria him or his friends say something and laugh so i am so confused.

It sounds like he does like you. My exboyfriend and I used to play around like this.. I found out that when him and his friends were laughing (he told me when we were already going out) at me when i walked by was because his friends used to tease him about liking me... aww I miss him!

Just because a person looks at you doesent mean a thing .There eyes might of glazed at you but really wasent even looking at you.The best thing if you want to talk to someone without others knowing right that person a note put it where that person can read it then wait for a responce from a distance or when you will meet.Poss leave a phone # at a phone booth and wait..
