I am familiar with many forms of gambling, and there's no way to "improve your odds" with slots.
Higher stakes machines tend to have higher payout rates, but since you're risking more money you expect to lose more money.
People who have "systems" are mistaken. The odds are fixed, and they're against you. For a casino game to be beat you must be able to use expertise and knowledge to get an edge (ie. poker and sports betting). There's none of this in pulling a lever. If you could beat it the casino wouldn't offer it.
Many people say "watch for a machine that someone has put lots of money into but hasn't won in a while." This is more of an urban legend than truth. Even if a certain payout is supposed to hit 1 time in 100 and it hasn't hit in the past 90 spins, it doesn't mean it has to/is more likely to hit in the next 10. Random events don't have memory. I believe that a slot machine algorithm has some timing component to it, but it's not nearly as pronounced as most people think.
Bottom line: put in some money and have fun, but realize you're taking a bet with a negative expected value.

I tend to keep an eye out for the online slots that have haven't come in for a while, then stick to my budget and play.
Some of them often come in at over $1m.

Yes, run........don't look back. Some people are just lucky and win, win, win. I am not one of them and have lost lots of $$$$$ entertaining the slot machine. I don't think there are tricks to increase your odds and I don't believe there is a Loose machine. Good luck to you and leave your debit and credit cards, check book at home. That is the best advice you will receive from me!

You must be going to Vegas soon. Slots are just luck and the Casinos biggest profit. But stick with video poker.

Did you ever notice that each person somehow feels the need to share that secret with at least one other person? I wouldn't tell anyone since I'd have to worry about who else will get told and the fact that I said I wouldn't.

Best advice is don't play slots. Those "loose" machines just let lose more slowly.

if its a huge casino you gambling in, try playing the slots near and dining area, the chances of winning are much higher so that the sound of chinging change lures people back into the gabling room
