Military police supervise or provide support to the battlefield by conducting battlefield circulation control, area security, prisoner of war operations, civilian internee operations, and law and order operations on the battlefield.

They also provide support to the peacetime Army community through security of critical Army resources, crime prevention programs and preservation of law and order.

An elected member of the House of Commons, an MP, has the job of taking care of issues which are of primary interest to his/her constituents and constituency in general. You can find out a lot more about Parliament by visiting the website and you can also see live coverage of debates in the House of Commons and the Lords on the BBC Parliament channel.

M.P. Member of Parliament? Their job is to feather their nests at the expense of the Tax payer. Their job is to tell us what to do (make it law) and then do the opposite themselves. Their job is to pull the wool over our eyes so that we will vote for them again. O.K. their job is to represent their constituents (people that live in their area) in Parliament e.g. say the government wants to build something nasty somewhere then the M.P. for that area is in theory supposed to get up on his or her hooves and complain and protest until the idea is dropped, in reality the M.P. will make a bit of a fuss until an interested party hands over a bung. basically it is the cushiest job on the Planet with plenty of pay rises when real people Nurses, soldiers and the like have to go without because sorry money's a bit tight.
