My 7 month old kitten has just been spayed today, but i forgot to ask the vet how long it will be take for her fur to grow back where it was shaved off for the op. Also, will she be allowed outside under adult supervision this weekend?

If the stitches are in still no don't take her outside yet, she could get an infection or pull a stitch out. Wait a few more days. Her fur will start growing back right away, in a few weeks maybe a month your cat's hair will be back.

The fur will take about a month or so to grow back, but it will grow back eventually.
As for going outside, I dont know about that. Maybe wait until next weekend or the middle of next week to ensure that no dirt or outside grossness gets into the incision site. But its up to you if you think the site has healed enough by then.

Don't worry! My kitten got spayed to! The hair grew back in about 2-3 months. I know it seems like a long time, and the scar hurts you when you pick her up but she/he will be just fine.

It will begin to grow back in in a week or so, and in a couple of months you won't be able to tell it was ever shaved.

Letting her outside? It depends on where you live. I live in a city and my cats aren't allowed outside. I used to take some cats I used to have outside on leashes with body harnesses and they loved it. If you live in a safe area you can let her outside over the weekend if you watch her. (There may be disagreements on this! Many people don't like letting cats outside at all.)

Your kitten will feel like doing all of her normal stuff very soon... surprisingly soon!

Keep her in for a week and make sure that she is supervised outside for the first few days.

She will have her fur back in a month or 2.

Hiya, Yes it will grow back after about 6 weeks, i would keep her under strict supervision when she first goes out. And dont forget cat's are very quick, and little Houdini's. My cat had just had a serious operation and wanted to go out so under supervision we went into the garden, only for him to escape into next door but ones garden, needless to say i was demented but he soon came home thank goodness, it didn't happen again.......!!!!!!

i had my kitten done and the fur grew back within about 6 weeks, depends on if she got long or shot hair though, my cat was allowed out for short periods with suppervision after a week, after that the vet checked the wound if it healing ok, she was allowed out on her own then.

Keep her in until you see her belly is healing properly, you wouldn't want the stiching to break and have to take her to the vets again. Her fur should take a month or two, I think that's how long it tooke for my cats.
