I work at a feedlot and during the winter we get ALOT of starlings. We use shotguns to try and keep them off the feed for the cattle. If you have ever seen a group of starlings in flight it looks like a swarm. Anyway last November we were trying to push the starlings out and my buddy shot into a swarm and 56 hit the gound. I know they are alittle smaller than pigeons, but still that isn't too bad.

Yes of course you did my dear fellow, you misstook the puntgun for a 12, Happens alot. Its a hunter and fisherman trate the tale gets bigger everytime you tell it, did you start with 2 or 3 when you first told it.

With a combernation of open choke and size 7 to 8 cartridges i would still find this hierly unlikely never mind with size 5s. Were you sleeping when this happend ??
