I can only think of a handful of people. Adam, Enoch, Abraham, Moses. Who else? Elijah? He spoke to a number through dreams and visions, but Moses is mentioned specifically as one He spoke to face to face. Really Moses was the main one He spoke to. Do you suppose He stopped when people stopped calling Him by His name, and started calling Him bad names instead?

Most people feel that because the Bible (the Word of God) has been translated and is so widely available, God chooses to use it instead of verbal messages.
There are a lot more reported conversations with God in countries where access to the Bible is restricted or limited, though.

The last we heard from the Bible god, he had just turned to the prophet Malachi and said "The entire human race gives me the creeps."

He hit himself in the head when he fell from his Harley Davidson. So he lost his ability to speak.
Now he speaks in Ameslan, but only a few cunning linguists and master debaters can actualy grasp his remarks.

When we stopped listening. No I'm kidding, that's just a nonsensical book, he never talked to anyone.
