Let's see; they send them to die in war; they send them there without body armor; they extend their tours without regard to family or health; they reduce VA funding; and more. Clear hatred-what is one to think?

You Crazy Liberal!!!! Of course they DON'T! CANT YOU SEE THE YELLOW RIBBON MAGNETS ON THE BACK OF THEIR OIL GUZZLING SUV'S????????
Plus, many conservatives have stock in EBay - thats where troops can get the body armour - why should we pay for it????
As for the extended troops, well thats just "extended product life cycle" - Haliburton marketers MUST do that in order to maximize cash cow profits.
VA funding? Thats just stupid and silly - Haliburton needs that money too! You know, IRAQI FREEDOM costs about $1 trillion! That aint cheap!

I will answer your question, but after wards promise me you will educate yourself a little bit more before you go off half ******...
The send them to war to die: I don't believe me or anyone else who joined the military thought they were joining the Girl Scout...we don't sell cookies...we fight and win war, and die too if need be....
They send them without body armor: Well you can blame Clinton for that...he cut the military funding for the entire 8 years he was President...kinda of hard to catch up after that...also too, the people who needed the body armor, COMBAT ARMS, not REMFS (Re escholon Mother F@@%ers) had the proper gear...
They extend tours: The military has always extended tours...it happens...it sucks sometimes but it happens...I was back from Korea three weeks before Billy Bob had me sent to Haiti...so I was actually "deployed" for 18 months....
They reduced VA funding: When and where...I receive everything I need from VA...if there is nothing wrong with you, you don't get anything...I have actually had my disability money raised this year...
What are you like 15 or something...War is war...the military is here to fight and win wars...if Liberals would quit hugging trees and let them do their jobs...they will win...if they lose it will be the Liberals and the Liberal Media' fault....

Excuse me, I am a veteran and I must take real offense with your statement. The conservatives are not the ones who cut VA funding (I lost kidney during GW 1 funding was cut under Clinton) Equipment funding was shifted to pay for the humanitarian flights to Kosavo again by Clinton. As for getting sent to die, we are all volunteers who mostly believe the greatest honor is to place ourselves between our homes and families and the bad guys. We are sent to make the bad guys die. Also at the end of Gulf War 1 we had a military big enough to do the job easily. The Liberals under Clinton gutted the military manpower levels leaving us to few people to rotate them in in out like you want. Personally I think that it should be like WWII no one comes home until it is done. That is the way it was for me in 1991!

Excuse me Bush has been trying his hardest to get the biggest budget possible for the troops and the DEMS have been trying to defund the war, just like they did in Vietnam and caused the death of thousands.
And they ARE given body armor you fool, ask anyone who is in the military such as myself.
The majority of military personell are republicans and specifically conservatives, liberals make up less than 4%. If you hate them so much than why are you fighting for them.
Also, this is a volunteer army, people like myself and other young patriots see the Iraq war as necessary and have volunteered our service to help win this war. Please stop trying to defund the troops and slander the only political party that cares about them or is willing to give them enough money to eat and have armor.

Actually, the dems must hate them too. There were enough votes (dems included idiot) to sent them to Iraq.
I love the Armed Forces. I'm married to one. Matter of fact, the ones I know that have been to Iraq tell me that we need to be there. Can't go into it anymore than that...but that's all I need to know.
Their opinion is a much better informed one that yours.

I don't agree. I'm not a conservative, but that is what our troops are for. They are there to fight and serve our country. They join voluntarily. Now sending them ill-suited was not a hot idea, but I don't think they did it to cause more casualties. Didn't Rumsfeld say that when we went in, we would be showered with flowers or candy or something? They didn't expect it to turn out like this, which may be ignorant and ill-informed, but not out of hate.

I do not think they hate our troops in Iraq as a people. I think they just hate the war in Iraq.
Big difference.
Hating our troops is not right, hating the war is right.
We went to war because they had OIL, not Wepons of mass destruction.
Remember when Daddy Bush was in office all the oil wells burning?...if they would rather burn the oil then give it to us...Bush thought...well I will just go take it.
Taking stuff that is not your own is stealling, I do not care how you do it it is still wrong.

you listen you lil rat, im a Lt. in the army with friends in Iraq and guess what im a conservative too, you can thank clinton for the body armour problem due to his military budget slashing and have since received all the armour we could ever need, as for tour extensions its been done in every war since forever, its a fact of life, we don't like it, but we keep fightin on, as for reduction of veterans funding nothing could be farther from the truth, the funding is going up as necessary to help those who need it, next time you go spewing hate get your facts first

NO i don't think that at all, my husband is in the military, he has been to Iraq he had all the equipment he needed, and the iraqi's he met were glad he was there
