My E-machine computer has the DOS Prompt A:\?

What do I need to do to be able to load my system disk.

Put the operating system disk in and reboot. If installation doesnt start, you will need to set the boot sequence to boot to cdrom in the bios. Not knowing what mobo you have, you are gonna have to watch the screen during boot. You should see bios directions here but you may have to be quick.

Is there a diskette in the floppy drive? Remove it and insert the system disk - probably a CD. Then reboot.
