I Oew Natwest Bank 500,000 pounds if i told my friends/family not to tell the collectors when they ring my address in spain or america surly its harder for them ?

For that kind of money, I suspect they will still find you. The second you apply for a new credit account, rent an apartment, apply for a driver's license, etc etc, your new address is entered onto your credit bureau. I've worked in debt collection. You would be surprised what we can find out.

You are better off hiring a lawyer and trying to clear up the debt than running. That is, if you ever expect to establish good credit anywhere else.

have you ever heard of a skip tracer? These are people who do nothing but look for people who have skipped out of their debt. they are very successful in finding people too, unless your dead.

Yes, they can track you down, it will take a while but for that kind of money they will find you, for sure.
