I don't think there is a law that says you are too old. Now if you were say, 95 and on oxegen and in a wheel chair, I think you would be dismissed. As a matter of fact, I think an elderly jury would be apt to make a better judment that a young jury. Thats just my thoughts.

Every state has different rules for jury duty. In Texas, you can't be forced to appear for jury duty if you're 65 or older, but you can still come if you want to.

No cut off date that I am aware of.My 86 year old father got a notice for federal jury duty last year.
