Will this bring bad luck to the baby and do you think the name in general is just wrong for a kid to grow up with?
Should I tell her not to? What are your opinions?

It's her baby. Although I'm pretty sure that when the kid grows up he will resent the fact she named him Lucipher.

If you are saying that for shock value, it won't work on those who know the truth. Lucifer is NOT the name of Satan. Lucifer or "shining one" was the Babylonian dynasty. The word has absolutely nothing to do with the devil.

Lucifer means morning star, if she wants to name her kid Satan, then you should worry. When the Devil fell from grace he also lost his name Lucifer.
