He's an American; roughly the contemporary of Norman Rockwell. All his work is almost flourescent and has youths in robes and columns and water and distant foliage. His work is realistic but almost impressionistic. Shadow and bright color are universal.

If you have a picture that you can post, and can give more reference info. ie. is he an illustrator? Is he a painter, print maker? Where did you encounter his work? You mention Rockwell, which is why I ask about illistrators. Could it be Maxfield Parrish? Rockwell Kent, I don't think so, but I'll throw it in. N.C. Wyeth?

Yes, they have had to go to their courts in order to fight for human rights in many nations where Jehovah's Witnesses have met with violent opposition and oppression. Sometimes it neccessary to use the system in place in order to help those in need. But we do not support the UN as a political entity. If you read the PDF file that is listed on that search you'll see the "qualifications of a NGO." Here you'll see that an NGO (non-goverment organization) must: Have a demonstrated interest in United Nations issues and a proven ability to reach large or specialized audiences, such as educators, media representatives, policy makers and the business community; Share the principles of the UN Charter. How can we, who have sworn allegiance to Jehovah God alone, support an earthly organization like the UN. Or even to put out their information?
