Yes, it's disturbing. Some people would like to re-write history...but then they'd have to talk everyone else into doing it, too.
Whether they believe it or not does not change the facts.
Monica, we have the truth (Holy Bible.)
I would suggest to all the Muslims reading this post to get a copy of the Holy Bible (New Testament, too.) Begin reading the book of John (4th book of the NT). Then read Matthew, Mark and Luke.
It is the only authority on the birth, life, ministry and death of Jesus of Nazareth.
You can read it for free at www.biblegateway.com or www.bible.com.
It will be an eye opener!
Happy reading!

Neither christians or muslims have a particularly good grasp of history.
And it is historically accurate that early christians didn't worship Jesus as god. He was originally a prophet and then upgraded to the son of god (which isn't the same thing).
The passage that defines Jesus as being god (John 5:7) was never in any of the original greek manuscripts but was added later (around the time of the king james bible) upon insistence by the church (Erasmus didn't want to go along with it but was more or less coerced).
So he went from being son of man and a prophet and eventually became considered the son of god, and then 1500 years later he became "god." Go figure.

I know that some Christian sects worship Jesus as God, but there are many Christian sects that do not.
Talk to the members of the Coptic Christian Church.
Talk to the Unitarian/Universalists who evolved from the Puritan Church.
In fact, look at the core beliefs of the Puritans.
I was raised in a liberal Methodist household, and frankly NEVER heard of worshipping Jesus as God--and when I first discovered it in my early 20s, I found it repugnant. Jesus is the Son of God, but that is not the same thing as God--otherwise there would be no Trinity.

Christians reject a great many things, which might make their version of history a bit warped as well.
All history is viewed from the point of view of the culture in which the history is written. The history of Belfast is told in entirely different ways in different parts of that city.
If you want to actually learn history, it takes a great deal of work, reading many accounts from many points of view. It's barely possible, even then, to get a sense of what is "true" history.

I am told that they do not even recognize the Temple Mount area in Jerusalem as the place where Solomon's Temple stood. This is indisputable to the rest of the world. The recent convention in Iran attempting to disprove that the Holocaust ever took place is graphic expose' of the intention blindness and deceitfulness of at least some of the followers of Mohammed.

well neither religions have any proof. the bible that most people read was written 500 yrs after jesus i think. and for the actual question, y cant people make up anything. we dont have actual footage or anything of jesus and christians worshipping him. muslims believe that jesus was muslim, and his followers were muslim. though there was no islam, but they followed the prophet of god

Everyone has a wared view of history because we all see the world from where we sit, and because history is always written by the winner. Take the Holocaust for example... Find someone who served in the Third Reicht, and I bet they'll have a completely different story than a Jewish survivor of a death camp. It's not that Muslims are warping history, it's that they're seeing it from their perspective, which is something we all do.

They completely change history of the bible and man's history to become what they want it to believe.
That ismeal was the one sacrificed. That Jesus was just a prophet. The holocost never happened. When they won wars they were real nice to the conquered. But history proves that is all wrong. Barnabus is not part of the bible and never accepted as such so why would we read it?
they have a violent attitute towards women and anyone not their religion. So who cares what they think? You will never change them. Just leave them alone and let them blow each other up.

Everyone has a warped version of history. Why do you think there are so many different history books? Everyone's got a different take.

~~~Monica,,,, I don't find it anymore disturbing than most Americans, including Politicians and Clergy, who claim that the USA was "FOUNDED on Christian Principles". Nonsense !! ~ Remember,,, "History is written by The Winners(conquerers)."
