i enjoy how they use verses in the new testament to prove that Muhammad was a prophet but ignore the 1000 verses where Jesus tells us he is God.

to daniel- the quran has NEVA been n can NEVA be changed!
we dont discredit da bible but its a fact known across da world tht it has been changed. even christians hve questioned it

which Bible is not changed? Hebrew Bible, Greek Bible, Latin Bible, English Bible, Jewish Bible, Catholics’ Bible, Protestants’ Bible, Eastern Orthodox Church's Bible, which Bible r u talking about? All these Bibles individually and collectively have been changed and some are still being changed. The Bible contains two main sections: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is recognized by Jews and Christians both. Jews calls it the Hebrew Bible or TANAK. But their Bible has 24 books and some books have two parts thus a total of 39 books. Protestants also have 39 books but in a different order. The same Old Testament of Catholics has 46 books, while Eastern Orthodox Christians have 51 books in their Old Testament. Jewish version of the Bible is based on the Hebrew Masoretic text while Christians generally use the Greek (Septuagint) and Latin (Vulgate) versions as the basis of their Old Testaments. Each group also has variations in the texts of their books as well as in the number of verses.

The New Testament is accepted by Christians only. It has 27 books: four Gospels and then other books and letters of various writers known as apostles. But Catholics add some verses in the Gospels that are not accepted by the Protestants. The Catholics as well as the Eastern Orthodox Christians accept some books that are not accepted by the Protestants.

Why do Christians discredit the Rigveda, even though it came first?

First of all, Muslims believe in the Holy Bible. They also believe that the Holy Bible was sent from God to Christ through Gabriel. Denying the Bible simply means that a person is not a Muslim since the bases of faith in Islam consist of many beliefs, among those beliefs is to believe that the Holy Bible was sent from God. That's right the Holy Bible came first and Muslims believe in it as they believe in the Holy Quran. But Muslims aslo believe that the Bible we have today was created by humans in order to coincide their desires and wishes. " Islam is a religion created by man", that's your own belief and every belief should be respected unless it insults others. I think that " Islam is a religion created by man" is not an insult so it's okay to say it to any Muslim. But if you asked a Muslim to respond he/she will say: It's was created by God! See this link.......

Islam does not discredit Bible. On the contrary in Koran, there is mention of 3 earlier holy books from GOD; and Bible being one of them.
Thing is that over time all these earlier 3 books have been changed by humans, Nevertheless, Islam tells muslims to respect all religions.
In my opinion, your comment about Islam is totally incorrect, and I suggest you to read history before commenting about any religion. If unsure about something, its better to remain quiet.
Thanks

Dear, Muslims never discredit the Bible, I would like to make you clear that Bible is as sacred for Muslims as the Holy Quran is. Jesus was one of the Prophets sent for the mankind by the God.
And please dont speak like this that Islam was created by one man. It is the message of God, like the Christanity, basically the religion was reformed by God. You need to make some study in this regard, please follow the link and you will get some answers.
I hope this will help.
May Allah bless you.

Then let me ask you why do Christians discredit the Torah, even though it came first?

Old doesn't mean it's the best, latest doesn't mean it's the best.

Judge a religion by it's teachings, not it's age.

Because the Koran is a copy of it almost word for word in parts. If they could get rid of the Bible, there goes all that competition and room for comparison with a divinely inspired book. They wish they had a really divinely inspired source for their religion instead of a thief.

Something come first or last is meaningless. Do you have original book? Authenticity is the major problem
