I've had this really weird rash since last Friday, and it's Tuesday now and it's worse. There's like red dots that are all over my stomach, my chest, shoulders, and now it's spreading to my arms and legs, and then this morning I noticed it was starting to spread to my neck.
It looks kind of like mosquito bites, but they're not as...I don't know...bumpy as a mosquito bite. And I seem to get more every time I take a shower. I've been using the same body soap for years (Olay), and I havn't changed any other kind of soap, and there's no food I've eaten that I could be allergic to.
I had Chicken Pox when I was 7 (now I'm 13). It itches but it's not really bad.
It's not shingles either....my mom has this rash book and nothing in it compares anything of the characteristics of this rash.
The doctor says it might be hives, but do hives really last more than 4 days?
Please tell me if you have any idea what this could be, and is there anything I can do or use to stop it?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!

It could be hives, or it could be eczema. I have recently had both at the same time. It sucks! I have been using eucerin cream and lotion to help the eczema. The hives should go away on their own, but in the mean time try using Aveeno bath products. That should help the itching. Both hives and eczema are supposed to come from stress. I thought about it and I only have stress because of this condition. Good luck to you and hopefully it goes away for you.

I would tell you to put some butter on it, sike

I would tell you to put blue star ointment on it
but you really need to go to the doctor and let them
prescribe something for you, sounds serious depending
on your age.

eczema. Get a steroid cream and dont take such hot showers, the showers make it worse.
