I just dyed my hair cinnaberry (a light reddish) and my hair is dark brown, and it's not showing up after I rinse it out and condition. Will it ever show up ? How long do I have to wait and what do I have to do ?

Red is a tricky color! If you have dark hair it will probably only show up in the sunlight as the sun hits it you will see a lot of red. I had my hair red for a while by a professional and it still faded very quickly and everytime I washed my hair the water in the bathtub would be pink. My best advice is to go see the Pros and let them do it next time!

Try adding a Booster. This is an additive you use while coloring your hair. You can find it at any beauty supply stores. You will only see the color if your outside. You pick a dark color to add to your dark hair. There will be hardly any change in hair color. You should of pick a few shades lighter.

Your natural hair was too dark to take the color. If it hasnt shown up, it wont. You would have to lighten your hair first, then color it.....go professional to do that
