You can be a friend with benefits. Hang out with him and get to know him better! If you like him more than you thought, wait! If not try staying his friend! Good luck and God bless!

I guess you would have to ask yourself...if you want to date them then you are hoping for brighter things down the road, maybe long-term commitment, a marriage etc. To be with someone is essentially just hanging out. Maybe the phrase "friends with benefits" rings a bell. You also have to ask yourself is there any reason to see anyone else when you are with this person, does he/she want to see anyone else? You have to look at how things are between you two and ask yourself "Where do i want this to go". Maybe then you might find your real answer.....good luck

Dear,
Being with Someone is itself being on Date,Coz Dating Means Going out and spending time to know each Other.

Is it possible if you wanted like that and you and the other person decide that it will be like that, but if you have feelings for the person, you are either together or not. If the one of the two don't want commitment then he/she gets the boot!

You can "be with" someone sexually but not ever date them, but otherwise if you are "with them" then typically you are a dating couple.

Why is this a serious problem, what's the urgency? Your hysteria seems somewhat overblown.

Some people don't like commitment. If you do and they don't then you may want to let them know you're looking for something more. If it's not working out...move on!

You might want to explain how it's a serious problem. It sounds like fun to me if I were in college.

Im not too sure you can be, that kind of defeats the purpose, at least I think it does. Why be with them and not date them

it really isn't, but some people say that they are with someone and when you ask if they are dating that person they say that they are just hanging out with them, so i am really not sure

Until one party says something like, "Let's be exclusive" or "Are we dating?" or "Do you consider me your girlfriend?" then technically, you're just friends. That's how my husband and I started out... I had to say something.
