That's called gossip. And yes, it can kill. But not in the same way that a curse punishes.
Curses work the same way other magic works. A Contact spell, for example, sends out feelers across the chaotic systems. Alot like a computer match up. If the potential person/s you are interested in meeting is also interested, as some of your energy is going along with it, you both work together to pull the chaos strings so that you will both meet up in an appropriate location and time for you to pursue an acquaintance. Rather like your 'ppl' and their 'ppl' calling a meeting. It is a two way street.
Curses are much the same. It is a two way street between the curser and cursee. The curser has decided that you really need a kick in the *** for something, and sends out feelers. Your energy comes in contact with them, and if your own guilt, that is, your own inner Goddess of Vengeance, decides that you must be punished, she and you use that energy as well as your own to create the curse effect. Rather like a karmic string tied around your finger to remind you of this guilt, which you might not have remembered otherwise, or not gotten to it as quickly. Which is why someone must go to the trouble of cursing you in the first place, and why a curse has no effect on a pure heart. No self-need for punishment, no curse.
The efficacy of curses are fueled by your own personal belief that you should be punished. It is activated only by your own sense of guilt, over something you have done or not done. It does not have to be related in any way to the reason for the curse. And this is the crucial part. It also does NOT even have to justified. It is ONLY your own perception of guilt and the desire for punishment that manifests the Curse. Your physic subconscious has been alerted by the curse to some perceived guilt and has taken it upon Herself to punish you. Even if no one else would believe that you deserve it for the particular issue that you are hung up on. That is the only way curses work.
Gossip on the other hand, is far more dangerous. It can punish those who are completely innocent by spurring on others to harm the victim. It is far more random, unpredictable, and explosive than a deliberate curse. But for those who feel wronged, or angry, and have not trained themselves to power in other ways, like witchcraft or personal confrontation or something, then gossip seems to be the only way to 'get someone back'.
I never recommend it. It's like playing with dynamite. Not only can it make a mess of many more ppl, it can destory you in the bargin. Give me an old fashioned curse or a good confrontation any day of the week. It empowers me to face my own scraps, and only punishes those who deserve it...

Absolutely not. (I'm Christian)
There is no power that can effect anyone, esspecially Gods children. Any power of a person falls like a house of paper up against that, so it is futile.
Here is a true story about a wiccan guy:
This wiccan warlock from our neighborhood, told me he was in the process of putting a spell on me, and I would be soon begging for him to take the spell away.
Two days later, from work -we all went to a bar/restaurant for lunch; the wiccan dude was drinking at the bar. He began to come across the room right towards me; Although nobody knows what he could have tripped on, he tripped and went forward into some tables, and broke his forearm, elbow and one rib.
Even if someone has some special ability to cast evil onto others (i don't deny there are evil spirits out there) It can't effect someone who is protected by Christ.
But, I was happy to have had to opportunity to test it out, just for fun.
99.9% of all people who say they have powers, or say they are mediums (even on this forum)
are completely full of soup. The other small percentage that do, are only able to "touch" someone who leaves themselves open to such things.

Curses are just superstition. If someone believes the curse affects them, you can cause them to focus on bad things that normally happen to them. In that case, they'll probably think the curse has an effect. However, it is still only in their mind.

Just like if you lose a tooth and plant it in the garden it will sprout dentures.
Why do you believe in such fantasies?
