That song makes me laugh...it's that qualifier:
...from a distance
So carefully worded, and so creepy. What does it mean, that he uses binoculars from up in the tree there? What is this guy, some voyeuristic stalker?
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good

I thought Christians believed God exists in all things and therefore if God were watching us he wouldn't be watching from a distance, he would be watching from either right in front of us or inside us. Either way that's creepy.
Oh, and there is no God.
