I eat when I'm depressed, and am depressed because I am gaining weight. While writing this I'm staring at the graveyard of hershey kiss wrappers resting before me. I'v probably consumed about twenty. Here's the thing, I'm not saying that I'm FAT, because I'm not AT ALL. I'm 5'10'' and 116 lbs, but the problem is, I can't fit into my old jeans? Does anyone have any suggestions about how I could possibly break this addiction? Also any good excersises that will show results by...tomorrow? I know it's ridiculous, but even just the smallest result will help because I have a photoshoot =/

oh and please NOTHING about anorexia/bulemia......GROSS.

Lose weight by tomorrow - use the wrestler's trick. Cut back on water and sweat, sweat, sweat. Careful, though, as you don't want to dehydrate either. Oh, yeah - you need to reduce caloric intake as well. Good for one or two days at most. Don't continue to dehydrate.

Eat only when hungry. Eat not more than three times a day unless u r diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. Get new jeans. Ur weight seems to be ok.

I would substitute for something more healthy.
What about a fat-free chocolate yogurt shake?
Figs? Chocolate Macaroon cookies?
Chocolate covered raisins (there's fibre in that). Chocolate covered strawberries would be tasty too.
Something that's flavoured with chocolate but has quite a bit of fibre in it... That way you satisfy your craving with the flavour and the fibre will fill you up faster and be good for your bowels.
Breaking the addiction puts too much pressure on you and may make you binge later on.
Exercises for results tomorrow? LOL! Walking is probably the easiest and least expensive.
Don't forget too (depending on your age) fat distribution changes... sometimes it's more in the thighs, then a few weeks later it's more in the tush...seems to move around or something.

...I think you're going to want to gain weight if you're only 116 pounds and 5'10''. But if you're really adament about ending your constant depression - eat - depression cycle, just drink some water when you start to feel sad instead of running to the store to buy chocolate. Also, start going to the gym. When you work out you release endorphins that make you happy, so really you'd be nipping the problem in the bud.

Maybe you're sugar sensitive- if you eat 1 Hershey's Kiss and can't stop until you've finished 20 of them, it could be your problem.
You won't get any weight loss results tomorrow but go for a walk, dance, or get moving.

don't buy the things, don't even walk into the isle where they are sold, and if necesary, get someone to come grocery shopping with you in order to tell you not to buy junk food. then get some vege's instead and go for a jog. works great! hope this helps!

when i start having that problem, I always do something else when i have the urge to eat. Somethign to distract myself. Sometimes i pick up a book...sometimes i wash dishes...sometimes i go workout...or i have a glass of water, or I take a walk...I do SOMETHING to distract myself from the craving.

How tall are you? anyhow, you could't go by the day ingesting in effortless words greens. you want protein(meat) carbs(bread) and fat(sure fat like nuts) once you're blacking out you're honestly no longer ingesting sufficient. once you're feeling fat after ingesting in many circumstances, pass to a wide-spread practitioner.
