transporting and storing green chiles?

i want to be able to buy chiles in the sw. but need to store them up to 2 weeks before i can use them back in alabama, idrive a truck and have a apt.size refrige.freezer any ideas ???

Pack them in ice.

pack them in rock ice to transport or send them to someone through UPS it doesn't cost that much
