Wow, what a good question today..
Do a storytime or video about the Rapture.
Make up some questions after the story/video and have them answer.
You have a good responsibilty at your church, I'm sure if you ask God for ideas He will let you know what He wants you to do.
Blessings~

If you were to give the age range of your youth group it would be easier to answer. Kids up to the age of, say, 13, will enjoy competitive games; they don't have to cost anything. They might enjoy a swimming evening, or games with another group in the park. All ages need to be encouraged in their faith growth. Too much video is not a good idea. Invite guest appearances - there are many well-known Christians in sport and acting, etc. Ask a Police dog handler to come along and talk about his work (so much the better if your guest is a Christian and will lead the group in prayer). Take them to a postal sorting office to see how their mail is dealt with, or the local radio station. I'm sure some lateral thinking will produce lots more ideas.

I LOVE movies about the rapture. You might try visiting Cloud 10 Pictures Website. You can get a synopsis of the movies and choose which will be best for your group. Some people knock christain fiction, but it really can be a useful aid in putting the Bible into perspective that we can identify with today. As a kid I had a lot of trouble with that but today I can see myself on almost every page of the Holy Scriptures.

When it comes to the Youth Night thing, it's up to you. But here's what I suggest you do on the video. Clips from the movie Left Behind, Left Behind II, Left Behind III-World at War, a little bit of clips from Revelation, Tribulation, and Judgement. Then for the final part of the video, add some pictures of calamities and wars. Mt. Pinatubo, etc. At the end of the video, say, "Would you be with us up there, or will you be left behind down here? Don't get left behind." Underline those words.

in case you have been to offer the age selection of your babies team it would be extra basic to respond to. young babies as much as the age of, say, 13, will appreciate aggressive video games; they do no longer could value something. they might appreciate a swimming night, or video games with yet another team in the park. each and every age could be inspired of their faith advance. too lots video isn't a robust theory. Invite customer appearances - there are a number of properly-properly-known Christians in game and appearing, etc. Ask a Police dogs handler to come lower back alongside and communicate approximately his artwork (lots the extra advantageous in the experience that your customer is a Christian and could lead the gang in prayer). Take them to a postal sorting place of work to work out how their mail is dealt with, or the community radio station. i'm confident some lateral thinking will produce plenty extra recommendations.

Teah them truth not the tradition of men. Look for your self what Jeusu says about the "rapture".
Jesus said "no flesh will be saved"
You must wait a little while longer untill the rest are killed as you were.

is Midnite cry the name of the video?
My kids liked the Left Behind movie (1 and 2) ... while they don't follow the books 100%, they are great...

Make smores--yummy...How old are the youth that you are watching??? Maybe you shouldn't talk about the rapture until they are old enough to think about that scripture entirely, because it's pretty violent for a small child to hear about. When I was a child and went to Catechism, I had nightmares for weeks after learning some of the violent propaganda that was taught to me.

Why not just postpone the whole business until JC decides to come calling on his own - it'll save the kids a lot of wasted time at meetings when they could be out drinking and dancing and raising a whole lotta honky-tonk hell.
