I have a zipped file and when i try to extract it an error message appeared and it says ( file skipped unknown compression method ) and when i used winrar another error message appeared and i want to know how to extract this file ????????

maybe its not zipped at all. . . .see the extension of the file. . .is it .zip or .rar ?/???? else it is just the icon misleading you. . .
another possibility is that the file is corrupted. ..

The file is most likely corrupted or not the download was not complete. Try downloading it again. If the file size is given, check and make sure it matches. This error usually happens when the download is only partial.

you need to go to cnet.com and download winzip
or whatever zip program it was used to zip your file
