you can't get 'rid' of stretchmarks, they are permenant marks but there is stuff you can get to help them fade, like cocoa butter. and people normally get stretchmarks for growing like you suggested

your growing taller? Im pretty sure, esp if there on your knees. You cant get rid of the white ones, but the red ones can be removed with well....all sorts of lotions, cocoa butters, Vitamin E is a big one.

Everyone gets um, I have em on my lower back, and Im 18 male and the same body type since I was 15 and my bf just pointed them out yesturday.

wierd I knw.

stretch marks suck

Because strechmarks have nothing to with being fat. They are to do with the elasticity of the skin. You can develop stretchmarks during puberty from growth spurts, not just gaining weight or pregnancy. You can help by using cocoa butter or bio oil to the areas where the stretchmarks are, but unfortunately nothing will totally get rid of them. Please don't worry, because the majority of women do have them, your friend is just very lucky!

HTH : )

Increase the intake of foods containing Vitamin A, E and C like carrots, papayas, tomatoes . Also food rich in essential fatty acids like fish oils will help in growth of skin cells. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks at the link below.

Sorry, Sweetie, it's a lack of collagen in your body, and really nothing you can do about it other then laser surgery. I'd wait until you're a little older, though. This info I got from a dermatologist about my daughter.
My daughter started getting them at puberty. On her legs, her breasts, hips. We tried EVERYTHING. Nothing helped. She was miserable.
The good news is they eventually stop. And they do get lighter to almost a silvery color. Much less noticeable. My daughter is now 22, graduated college, engaged to be married to a terrific man she met her second year of collage. I say this because I know from 6th grade to 12th grade these things made my daughter very self conscience. She didn't wear shorts, was the only cheerleader who wore pantyhose under her uniform. I want you to know, as I told my daughter, there are much worse things in life. To accept it and move on. I totally empathize with any young girl who has to deal with this, but it's just the way it is. Good luck!

As you as young and your body need to build up,
Stretch marks may also appear due to your diet, climate also,

Take more water and if you are living in cold region apply jelly or cold cream, This is more important,

And finally take good hygienic care.

To get away your marks it needs some time also like 2-3 months.

EVERYONE has stretch marks. Everyone.

The best thing you can do is lotion the area with marks daily. Keep moisturized. There are certain creams specially designed for stretch marks but I don't know how much more effective they are as opposed to Cocoa Butter or regular hydrating lotion.

Don't fret. It doesn't matter how old or how over/under weight you are, everyone lives with these beasts. It's a fact of life. :(

Around your age I started getting them too, around my butt area. I didn't notice a difference, but according to the doc I must have gained and lost weight so slightly that I didn't notice, but my body did...

You can use lasers to remove them, but wait till you're older and after you've had kids and all. It really sucks.

You can get strechmarks from rapid weight loss or weight gain. Are you active? If so that could be the cause.
