I live in a small town and it's in the middle of winter now. not much to do here. My boyfriend of 6 months is coming from 500+ miles to see me and he's from a big city. I am really having trouble finding something fun or unique that would be memorable. He doesn't like to bowl, I can't ski and local ice rink isn't open to the public on weekends. We dont have snowmobiles or winter fishing gear. We have already been to nice resteraunts within 50+ miles of here. No local events happening the weekend he will be here either. I'm just out of ideas...... Any help?

Can you rent snowmobiles or fishing gear? Go snow shoeing or something?
Or maybe both of you can just go to the store together, buy food, some wine, rent some movies....then come home and cook it...that can be fun, and it is something you are doing together.
Then have a nice, romantic candle lit dinner! Then snuggle up together and watch a movie.....and maybe build a fire if you have a fire place.
He knows that you live out in the middle of no where, so he should already understand that there aren't many of places to go, things to see. The main reason he is coming out there is to spend quality time with you, anyway. So stop stressing about trying to spend a bunch of money and about finding ways to entertain him. If you do this you will probably be able to relax and concentrate on having a good time, yourself.

How about taking him to play pool or going to the batting cages? I always like playful, fun dates. But if there's nothing of the sort in your area, why not play it simple and make him a nice dinner at home? You can rent some of his favorite movies to watch together, or just eat and catch up on old times. I'm sure whatever you do will fun since it sounds like you haven't seen him for a while.

Find out what kind of board games he likes to play. Take him to a paint ball shooting range and have him hunt you and you hunt him and whoever wins has to make dessert or something. Better yet-why don't you both cook together, or you make him dinner and he can watch? Is he into video games? Take him to an arcade. I'm sure there are many things you can do with your guy-the one thing to remember though is you want to spend time with your man-so I would think he don't care what you all do as long as he is with you-he's coming 500 miles to see you. He may want to STAY IN if you catch my drift-so MAYBE make plans to cook dinner and make him foods you know he loves to basically have him all over you.

Go to the beach A park just walk around and talk its actually fun Dinner for two! Go to his house play video games even if you suck have fun Laser tag Hiking Pool Amusement parks Walk around the mall Play sports with him I suggest before mini golf have a romantic dinner don't worry about it being to fancy just enjoy!
