Some people out there got Limewire to work...can you guys help me to get it to work...on vista

2 reasons.
Reason #1: There's no Vista version of either yet.
Reason #2: Vista recognizes both as illegal file-sharing programs and will not let them work.
There is a work-around for #2, but pay attention to the word ILLEGAL.

Where and how are you connected to the internet. Some providers will block your ip from any thing like that. Especially smalled colleges and comcast.

chances are you'll have to disable the viral and security settings. vista has more security than xp did. disable this and then download and install and see if you get it to work.
