are there adverse reactions to laminectomy?

There are many possible complications with laminectomies as there are with every surgery. Some of them include dural tear (with or without pseudomeningocele), adhesive arachnoiditis (with or without epidural scarring), residual stenosis, instability, and failure to improve.
