I was a psychology major in college. I read about a study where they put prisoners into pink rooms. At first the effect was very calming, prisioners stopped being agitated and fighting. But the effects only lasted 15-30 minutes, when they would get agitated again, more so than before. So, if you want a pink room, consider not all pink, maybe one or two walls pink and as someone earlier said, light pink because a little goes a long way.

it really depends on what shade of pink as well as what kind of decor you will be having in your room. If your decor is all pink, then pink walls would not be a good idea unless there was a stark contrast in the shades- if your decor is colors that are complimentary then by all means paint it all pink.
I would recommend a light or neutral shade of pink- then whatever your accessories are now will go well with it and later if you tire of your decor and accesories and want to change them, you should be able to do so without having to change oyur wall color- there are obviously things that dont go well with pink but if it is a color oyu like and are comfortable with go for it- just dont go too extreme- you tire of it fast and it is harder to make changes around.

Go for it if you really like the color pink. The wonderful thing about paint is that you can always paint over it if you decide later that you don't like it.

Go to the home depot or walmart and get some paint samples.
take a few of the paint swatches home and tape to your wall so you can get an idea if this works for you.
If it does then go for it.
use a lighter shade so that if you decide you dont like it it wont be a bear to change.

particular yet only one wall as a function then paint the different 3 a very faded color that suits. (mild pink or white) different clever it will make your room look tiny and to on your face. I painted my daughters room warm pink and a very faded pink and it appeared astounding!!!

Pastel colors are considered in right now and pink is a very nice color. There is nothing wrong with your idea provided you accent it with say a border or paintings of co-ordinated colors.

Yeah, I think so, I painted my room all pink. Just make sure that you don't chose a color of pink that you will get sick of!

It's a great idea, just choose a very pale shade of pink. A little pink goes a long way.
