If you had to, would you rather be driving on the road with 1000 drunk drivers or 1000 stoned drivers? You can only choose one or the other. Why?

Oh, and by the way, if you have never been drunk or smoked pot more than "just to try it", you are not allowed to answer this question b/c you really have no experience with either.

I would rather not drive with either, but if I had to chose then I would take the 1000 stoned drivers any day of the week over the drunk drivers. As for why, being stoned doesn't impair you nearly as much as being drunk while driving. Statistically there are very few accidents involving stoned drivers and many involving drunk drivers (although the statistics aren't the best thing to look at as they count it just as much whether it was a sober person's fault and the other person was just barely over the limit or if the person was drunk to the point of passing out while driving).
Also several studies have been done to compare drunk and stoned drivers and found that by far drunk drivers were more dangerous and some even concluded that slightly stoned drivers are better drivers than sober drivers.

Depends on their level of intoxication but I'd definetly prefer the stoned drivers.
Msy629 is completely wrong. Being stoned DOES impair your motor skills, just not as badly as alcohol does. Stoners drive better because we are so paranoid about getting pulled over we try to put more attention into driving by the rules.

Stoned, being stoned doesnt impair your motor skills and in fact it make you drive slower and more carefully. Drunks are just out of control. Think of a video game, being stoned can actually help you play video games where as being drunk makes playing games much harder.

Stoned. Drunks are out of control--they stagger and lose motor skills when drunk. Stoned people just forget where they are going!

stoned most def!! when you are drunk you just don't give a sh** about what is going on around you,like you are3 invincable!! but stoned you are very concious of what is around you because you are looking for the popo's haa haa!! you don't here of peeps dying because they were hit by a stoned driver but how many do hear about that were drunk!!!!!!

I'll take 5000 stoners over 1000 drunks. At least you know nobody would be speeding and nobody would get hit.

stoned, I have not seen a stoned guy that just could not keep it between the ditches! drunks go in the ditch. or into my car

1000 stoned drivers.... australian studies show that persons under the influence of marijuana are better drivers then the average sober driver.
