If you have only a little bit of acne, and just a few dark spots, no this doesn't prevent you from acting or modeling. There are currently actors and models who have mild acne but they apply a face base to lessen its appearance. When it comes to acting or modeling, yes a clearer complexion is a plus but the greatest factor is your ability to perform effectively.
