I moved awhile ago into a one bedroom suite and dont have a lot. Last night i was moving around some stuff and was wondering cuz my living room looked so bear i loved my big white closet with closing doors in the living room. but does that look funny having a closet in the living room?

Do what you think is right..Who cares if someone else thinks a closet looks funny in a living room..You live there do what you feel looks good.. what do you want? Maybe mirror the doors and make the space look better.. the long mirrors you can get for 5 dollars each or so.. Add paint if you can. I love to paint it really makes a space yours.. Watch some shows and get some ideas. If you want artistic ideas let me know I might have some for you if you tell me what you like. There are so many options.Good Luck

If you keep your closet neat and clean, and closed, people will think it is another piece of furniture. Use some warm color to decorate your living room, so ppl don't pay attention to the closet :) Get a nice artwork or something fun in the room.

not at all. On the home decorating shows, they move furniture where it fits best so if you think your white wardrobe/closet looks best in LR space, go for it. It is your storage space. Try it. If it doesn't work out, you can always change it.

No it does not...its great cuz you can put all of your winter stuff away in that closet ....i have a closet in my living room and its great more room in my closet to put all my clothes away
