Using turbotax, but can't find out this info. Please help.

Home improvements can be used to adjust the cost basis. That will lower the gain on sale. But they're not deductible.

Tutoring is never deductible. Only post-secondary education (college & university) has any tax deductibility.

You can't find it on TurboTax because those aren't deductible expenses.

Keep the receipts for the home improvements. You might be able to add them to your basis when you sell your house.
