i did it in a 2003 explorer!! u need 4 jl audio 13.5 w7 in a custom 2.5 cubic inch box for each sub (ported) and a jl audio 1000/1 on each with a 300 amp alternater 2 yellow top batteries and 0 guage wire on a pioneer deh 9600 deck it it will do the job i promise

Usually they crack at around 160-175 dB pending on what type of automobile. They never really bust because once cracked, the pressurized air is then released from the cabin.

i would say between 160 and 170 dbs. if you want to get that, then go with Pioneer's 5000SPL. its a crazy woofer most people have never heard of, cause they think JL is god. too bad, cause this woofer would spank JL in a compition.

Tests show you would need a sub-woofer with a diameter of 5 feet. It is not plausible, but it is possible, just not realistic.
