Because he wanted to make it bigger to get revenge against the farmer from whom he escaped who happened to be driving down the avenue with a truck full of his chicken cousins from his mother's side. He wants them to get bounced out of the truck so they can have a little shindig at the Foghorn Leghorn's this aftenoon.
