Hi,
when i turn on my computer as you may know msn shoots up straight away. How do i stop this from happening. I have tried something where you type in msconfig but i think it just resets itself. First working method gets best answer!

one again. in my startup folder all i have is adobe acrobat reader and exif launcher???

Next time it opens (or open it yourself), go to
"Tools" in the toolbar and then select "Options...",
Click the "General" tab on the left,
Now uncheck the first box.. voila!

Try going to the computer Start menu (presuming that you're on a Windows machine), go to Programs, then Startup, and remove MSN from the Startup folder. That should take care of it.

go to tools-options-preferences tab-uncheck run windows messenger when windows starts. Also if you go to start-run and type in msconfig and press OK a menu will pop up. Then go to the start up tab and find msn and uncheck it and restart and that should stop the program from auto launching

in my case msconfig is working fine .......but if u want to remove it completly from your computer.......then
control panel-> add or remove program->windows components
->msn explorer.....
unclick it and it will get uninstall...

Try going into "Start", "Programs", "Startup" and see if it is on your startup list. If it is right-click it and delete it.

Go to tools at the top of the page. then go to internet options...you can change your homepage
