my cat is (2 years old neutered) loves to go outside and hunt and I'm ok with it. he was beautiful cat and now becuase of this trips (2-4 days out) he looks terrible: his fur is not shiny anymore, very skiny and just don't look good to me. I know he is not sick, but what I can do to make him look better, I don' t want to lock him home. May be there is some special food or vitamins?

I think your cat is sick and you should have him evaluated by the vet. A poor coat and loss of weight are not good signs and it may be something treatable.

Certainly improving his diet is always a good move and you must be sure there is no underlying medical condition that needs to be attended to first.

At this time of year he'll be starting to shed his winter coat so still will probably make him look a little duller. Lots of stroking and brushing will bring a lustre back to his coat.....and also oily fish (eaten not rolled in). At least he's out having a good time...he'll calm down eventually but even my 11 year old mog goes dull now and again.

vitamin b (in holland called beergist pills) they eat them out of the hand. it's very good for the fur, and humans use them too.

You might try suppliments, but I would have a vet look at him. He might have worms.

If it's just a fur problem, try grooming him.
