This guy that I'd been seeing for over a year, casually/dating, had moved awhile back(about 6months ago) to his hometown to be closer to his family.He told me he still wanted to keep in contact. Which I think I've made more contact than him, but we still talk. Anyway, one of the 1st phone calls we had, he told me he had met a girl. But then he would say he still wants to go on a trip with me at the same time(that we had talked about before). I'm not sure if telling me about a girl, he was trying to make me jealous or to see how'd he react. But fast foward to lastnight...I called him, we had a good conversation like good friends(how we left as) and he told me that he's taking a break from that girl. Now why would he tell me that? Also, he mentioned again that he wants to for sure go on a hunting trip w/me because my uncle has a place out in Colorado where he can hunt. Anyway, I'm confused I guess on what he wants of me, & I'm glad he keeps in touch here & there. But what does he want?!

I also think it's odd that 1 of the reason's he moved there was to become closer to his friends, but just lastnight he said that the connections aren't working out how he expected it. So I wonder if he's thinking it might have been a bad idea to move in the 1st place. He also said he'd change his # to the new area code, but would still have my # obviously, but he still uses the same # after 6 months?

He is using you for your uncles hunting land. Also for someone to dump on when he feels bad. Dump him, he is a user and you deserve better.

Girl, u need 2 end this relationship/friendship right now. It's obvious that he doesn't want to b in a relationship w/u if he's meeting & seeing other people. He only calls u because wants to keep u around as a back-up until something better comes along. Please -- DON'T allow him to make u the back-up plan girl! If a guy wants u, he will be calling/texting u & trying to spend time w/u. Life is too short to waste time being confused & wondering if someone wants u when they have clearly shown u that they don't. He's not confused about u - he already knows what he wants & it's clearly not a relationship with u. (sorry) Don't take his calls & don't call him. Find someone who will loves u just as much or MORE than u love him.

I think it is best to tell him that. Ask him why he wants you to go on a hunting trip. Be blunt!!! For all you know, this guy may just want to get you in bed. Also, he may like you to which he needs to do a better job. If he really cared about you, he would make more of an effort! I would be wary about going on a hunting trip with a guy I do not the intentions of. Also, I would be wary about liking him before you know who he really is. Good luck!

Maybe it's time for you to move on? It sounds to me like he was keeping his options open and he's sort of just settling for you when it's convenient. I really don't think this is a healthy relationship for you.

i think hes just stringing you along for back up when someone dumps he. your an ego builder to him. try and look for people closer to you and dont get caught up in him

i think you should move on-how do you really know whats really going on w/ that other girl. it sounds like he wants you at his convenience-try this keep putting him off & do things at YOUR convenience.he'll start trippin but let him. its gonna feel great to be IN CONTROL!!!
