Their nest box has been set up for about a month. I don't bother them very often. Only to feed, water, and clean cage daily. I heard them mating about a week ago. I have been in the room several times today to check on her. They are an experienced pair. But, i still worry. She is dropping huge droppings about the size of 10 or more normal size droppings. They have devoured a brand new cuddle bone within just a few days. She is puffed up and seems quite tired today. I don't know if this makes a difference but I can see her vent quivering. I have also witnessed her feeding the male twice today. and she has been sitting on her water dish. Which I filled to the top to make sure she is getting plenty of moisture. Does it sound like she is ready to lay? If yes, how long should it be?

yup, hopefully by the end of the day... if it takes longer than 2, she may have an egg stuck in there, and need help. Help requires a trip to the vet.

To help her now, you can use your finger to place a bit of olive oil on her vent to help, well... lube it up to come out
