No. It is the atheist's shooting range. It is where we practice shooting holes in theories.

I can see where that impression might come from. I think it has to do with the human thirst for polar opposites and the need to be "right" about something.

I'm sure if someone mentioned the New York Yankees, there would soon be a response from a Red Sox fan.

Really? Yahoo R&S section is now a tax free entity?? I think not.

I dont complain about religion. I complain about people who post assinine, lame, inflammatory questions. Fundies prove nothing other than their own lack of intelligence. As you have done so with this posting.

Will you knock it off? Atheism isn't a religion and if people keep trying to claim it is, I'm going to start reporting them for baiting and trolling because they know better and are just trying to cause trouble with the Atheists.

Do you mean Atheists complain about their own religion (because they have one) ?or are they complaining about other people's belief about God (another religious position?)

And the FundAmentalists (not e) what is it that they are proving? that the Atheist complain?

I can only speak for myself, but I do like it here...and in Non-Believers, a Yahoo discussion group that counts seven of the R&S regulars among its owners.

It's more like a zoo where we throw peanuts at monkeys, just to see them fight over these peanuts.

It's out of sheer fun; nothing is ever achieved from arguing with fundamental religious people.

Pretty much. Every now and then I throw a paradigm bending reference to new physics into the mix to piss off both sides.

This is the section where logic and common sense comes to die (or is born anew, depending on your point of view).

Why don't the atheists have the most best answers than "imacatholic2" if this is true?
