It wont hurt you but it would be more managable if you just use a medicine grinder and pour it in juice or water.

They would probably taste really bad.I buy the whole food vitamins, which are also big,but I put them in my coffee grinder and then in my protein drink in the morning. With whole food vitamins you usually have to take 3 or more a day and they are large but they won't make you sick on an empty stomach.I've bitten into one a day vitamins and they are awful when you break them. You could try a coffee grinder or a mini chopper, but I would also try a different vitamin.

It will taste nasty and chalky and will probably coat your mouth. Just a possiblity though: If you do it consistantly it might damage your mouth or esophogas tissue, these are not as well protected as the tissue in your stomach where the vitamin is supposed to start comming apart. Also some vitamins may need the acidity of the stomach to get well absorbed and may not be in a suitable condition for it to work by the time they get to the stomach.

the pills are a waste of money, they are not readily absorbed even broken or chewed. You would do much better to take a liquid vitamin, like Life Force, which are for the most part 100% bioavailable.

It is probably okay but it would be disgusting in taste! Ask a pharmacist what he/she thinks. I think there ARE chewable vitamins for adults out there, though.
