A set of dumbbell (the type you manually change the weight plates) and a fitness ball (the fitness ball can be used in place of a bench). Between this and body weight exercises, you can get a good full body workout at home for very little money. You would probably even have enough left over to buy a workout outfit.

A gym/ pool membership. Or just a good pair of running shoes. You could exercise with out equipment. Running is funner outside then on an eclipse.

But if you really want a machine, abb lounge. I dont know how good it is but my gym just got it.

a good pair of running shoes....running takes care of so much. You can work the upper body with push ups and pull ups, etc. But running builds the legs and the cardiovascular better than anything else.
