Do dogs have tails?

I am 40 years old and all of my life, I have wondered if they do. I know that it is tough to answer this question without a lot of research, so I would appreciate any answers.

Yes. But if you really want to get technical, the tail is actually an extension of a dog's spine.

yes, most do. Some of breeds have tails which are docked shortly after birth (meaning surgically removed) This is common with breads like dobermans, spaniels and many others. I personally would never get a docked dog. Some breeds also have docked ears.

If you are referring to the animal then yes all dogs have tails.
If you are referring to some of the dogs we date then I would say some do and some don't
In fact there are some suits that have tails (tuxedo)
And coins always have a head and a tail

Yes. I am pretty sure that all dogs have tails (or at least were born with them) but some breeds have them cut short at birth.

Unless bread to not have them, all dogs have tails. However, many have them cut off when young, although i'm not sure why.
