I have just started doing light fitness training again, and part of my routine are push ups and curls, but each time after doing 3 reps of curls, my arms begin to cramp in the curled position. Am I doing something wrong and this a bad thing?

Slow down a bit.....get a good stretch on your arms before lifting. Are you doing push ups just before the curls? This may be the problem....these two exercises work different muscles groups. You have have drawn fluids away from the biceps and that causes the cramps. Lighten the weight a bit and see what happens..

Your Mom should have told the doctor there is family history with uterine trouble. But first the doctor should have asked if there was a family history of any problems with reproductive history. Just because you are 14 y.o. the medical profession should realize you are not immune to "adult" diseases, especially since you have been menstruating for 5 years already. It seems you already know there is something more going on here than the others want to investigate. Don't let them run over you. Go back to the doctor and try again armed with the family information. If that does not work got to a gynecologist.

Try up-ing your K vitamins, B vitamins and eat a banana before you do this. Make sure you are properly stretching before and AFTER as that helps. Try doing smaller weights more reps to build tonal value then after about a week of that go back to what you were doing! It should never impair or hurt you. Just a slight burn to do it right. Takes time but the end result is MUCH better and healthier for you!

You are experiencing "the burn" but maybe you should lightening up on the weights for now. Better more reps and lighter weights! Do not believe in no pain no gain attitude. That could end up damaging your body!

No, it just means your over working your arms.

Its good to over work them for maximum gain, but dont do anything till your arms feel better. If it takes 5 days, dont do curls again till your muscles are healed.

My thought is "No Pain, No Pain". It does not take much for me to click on my keyboard. The only curls I do is my beverage.
