As long as u like the guy cuz he is flirting with u n if u take it off then u r showing interest as well.I would if I liked the guy to show him that I respect his opinion.

Nothing, unless he's made other comments or is constantly bugging you. If that's all he said, he doesn't mean anything by it. He was trying to point out the rip in your sweater in a nice/less embarassing, albeit, offbeat way.

Probably not that big a deal. He was being social, maybe a little flirty. You can probably gage it by other comments he makes to you. If you're uncomfortable with what he said, then it was the wrong comment for him to make to you.
