Actually a lot of people do this. The sex is just sex to them, and they do it because it is familiar territory and they are not really worried about being hurt again because they have low expectations.
In a twisted kind of way, isn't the best sex you can have the kind where you can act any way you like, with someone who is going to cooperate, and already knows how to please you? In this way, it's actually a little better than married sex, because you don't have to care what they think about you after and can act however you like.

In my book..that wouldn't be ok...but some ppl still have a close connection with their ex's..and they do continue to have sex with each other...
If you're asking this question then I'm sure you would agree it's not right. Your ex is your ex for a reason. No matter how hurt you are/were....you need to find other things to do rather than having sex with your ex.
GOODLUCK*

it is always better to keep ones dignity and self worth after u have been hurt, by an ex. as what do u hope to gain by doing this? he is still hurting u, and using u, why not distance yourself, why be a victim over and over again. u owe this person nothing at all. it is time to stand up for yourself, and refuse to be part off this anymore, if he hurt u and didn't want u before, why does he suddenly want to be with u now?

not your ex no all you are telling him is that it was ok to do what ever he did to you and you would forgive him and not expect a realtionship so that just informs him that you are easy and he can get you whenever he feels he needs some activity, dont do that to yourself you are better then that make sure he treats you with respect and let him know how big of a mistake it was for him to let you go

Of course it's NOT okay! If you've been hurt then why bother to go crawling back to them just to sleep with them. I know I may sound mean, but have some common sense!

If you can do it with no emotion involved go ahead. If you know there is emotion there, don't....because it will hurt and then even though it was your idea you will feel used. Move on.
This may be a little crude but invest in toys. There is no emotion involved there and it keeps you "safe". Good luck!

Ive done it and you know what...it wasnt worth it in the end. Emotions just start building up and even though you know its over you still have that feeling that you cant shake and its because you are still able to share something that intimate. You gotta just let her go. Follow your heart and not your penis. I had to learn that the hard way.

That's entirely up to you. Just don't get your hopes up and be prepared to be hurt again.
This is just a case of being used for the sex.

NO.. you all broke up for a reason. Leave it that way. One of you is only gonna get hurt again because feelings will get attached and they won't be mutual.
