Definitely. Grab a few of your fellow atheists, invite some Christians and Jews, and I'll bring a few of my fellow Muslims. We'll all have a party and discuss religious philosophies.

We could probably discuss the philosophies contained in doctrine but actual faith in God is beyond mere philosophy! Faith goes beyond reason and intelligence so it would be near impossible to philosophically discuss someones deep faith without offending them or starting an argument.

It would be a vast improvement.

But, most that have a belief system in place cannot wrap their heads around what someone else "believes".

Besides, we'd need some handcuffs and other physical restraints to keep the "filthy hypocrites" at bay...lol

The Christian religion is to be experienced.

God has promised us His Holy Spirit.
And with Him comes gifts and power.

There is little in words to persuade people, but when they experience God's power, than He becomes real to them.

You can't discuss evangelical Christianity philosophically- it has to be confronted aggressively.

Absolutely, but that will never happen due to close-minded people who aren't willing to accept that their interpretation of the meaning of life is wrong.
