I should explain, she hasn't always called him that, just recently when she wanted him to pay off her car, help put her in her own house, and make half the payment

No question is a stupid question..She is 26 and still lives out of her dads pocket I think she is using her dad and that is just wrong..Unless she has a medical problem then that would be different dad would be just helping her to live own her own.. If she is healthy then she should be supporting herself.. As far as the dad and daddy thing well some grown people who have always called their dad daddy still do...Now if she has not always called her dad daddy and just started to then I think that would be weird..

not at all. use whatever term is comfortable for you. dad or daddy are terms of endearment. not just a name. i think my dad would love it if i called him daddy. i just got comfortable with dad or pops.
