I think some of you are reading my question wrong!.. I wasnt talking about my DNA I was talking about Jesus' and God's DNA because they are father and son they should have similar genes.

WHY do you want to know so much about someone that you believe in?

I don't understand what you are saying. Are you saying merely that because we are made in the likeness of God that we will have his DNA? If so, that's not true, because God made us unique and science proves that everyone has a different DNA. God is not a human being--he doesn't have a DNA. He is God. You are right, you can't argue with DNA, but we dont have alike DNA to God.

Funny, I've been thinking a lot about this sort of question and here is what I have to say.

If you consider the nature of "god" and what it is all about, you can see that we ourselves in our mundane human form could be considered god to other species. Take the common pet flea for example. To the common pet flea, we are so large as to be incomprehensible. They live on a world that moves and is subject to disturbances and weather (rain and flooding at bathtime, earthquake when the pet scratches) and at some point in their life (well, the end) the big hand of god will come out of the "sky" and sprinkle deadly flea powder on the pet, wreaking havoc on the little flea society there (synonymous to acid rain? nuclear fallout?).

Now the existence of a flea and a human (and a dog) is so different - how could you ask that flea to understand the nature of their god? How could that flea's DNA have anything to do with God? How could they measure or prove their God until the very end when the flea powder starts to fall? I mean, the dog at least they have access to and so they could have some way of learning about their world, but as soon as they come in contact with god, they are gone (much like humans).

For that matter, do you think that fleas worry about Global Warming and their part in it when the dog moves into to the sun from the shade?

Peace!

Jesus is the son of God through the Holy Spirit. Therefore if it is through a Spiritual being, there is no DNA involved. It has to do with your spirit and you can't DNA test the your spirit or soul.

Hmmmmm, good point. You can't argue with DNA. So that would mean that since a fetus and it's mother have different DNA, they ... CAN'T ... be the same person. So that means that it's not "her body" that she is aborting. Hey, you're on to something here. Can we call you as an expert witness when this goes to trial?

not everyone who believes in god believes that jesus was his son. you can't use dna on a spiritual ideology.

stop claiming atheist dis-beliefs for your own, you will embarrass them with your illogical crackhead philosophy, and most of them are quite sentitive when it comes to things that are not rational.

edit: why the add. detail? noticed how you aren't getting the normal round of "you are so right"s that they always have on these questions, huh? sorry hon, not gonna happen. everyone got what you said, and understood that you must be an idiot.

I think they will tell you that would be impossible because Jesus' body was resurrected.

I don't think we could map God's DNA.

If you don't believe in God, I will pray for you. I think that you would understand this question better if you were a follower. Of course it wouldn't show in DNA, he didn't BIRTH you, he just created you.

The DNA would be similar to our own, only there would be the walk on water gene.
