I knew a parrot whose cage was next to the phone and answering machine. It would mimic the phone ringing and clicking noise as if the machine picked up and reapeated the machine message. It was really strange!

I was camping once and the guy next to us had an african grey he took camping with him. He would stick his fingers up like a gun and go bang bang the parrot would lay on its side and say, You got me you dirty rat! I about died!

Coco, my gray, is barely 7 years previous. I have two african Grey's the one makes the noise of the phone ringing and the other one answers it saying hello!and then states his address and post code ,then he will say bye bye, he also tells my husband not to forget to take his tablets when he hears the bottle rattle.he also asks our next door neighbor if she would like a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.

I have a Blue Front Amazon That says alot of things.
He says Good night all most every night when I put my hand on the switch to shut the light in his room , He says hello, how are you , be quiet, oops when I drop something, and some more.
It still amazes me every time

i have many parrots but my Grey's can really come out with some words. my oldest Grey loves to say DADDY STINKS, SHOOOOO when my husbands comes home from work. he meows, howls like a wolf and tells the dog to go pee pee, sit down and your stupid dog. his favorite thing is to tell himself, oh your gorgeous.

I had a greenwing that would say well hurry up and come on in....I had to make sure the doors were locked so strangers wouldn't walk in!!
