I need to know some information, to pass along to a guy friend of mine that wants to hunt in Colorado this fall. I need to know what the non-resident fees are, for deer, mule deer or elk. Also, where are places that he can hunt around the Leadville/Aspen area? Any ranges that you know of? And lastly, would he have to be put into a drawing, regarding the license? How long does that take? So...what is the best option if he wants to hunt there this coming fall? Please let me know, I need to tell him soon! Thank you!! p.s. does anyone know of any hunters out in Colorado that could help?

The Sagre De Cristo and San Juan ranges in southern Colorado are probably the best elk hunting areas in Colorado, unless you try to shoot one in the park at the Royal Gorge Bridge.

I did see some monster elk in the park. Hey they even have a white buffalo, so he could try shooting that one too.
